In a quarterly earnings report Take-Two Interactive assures GTA 6 is still slated for a fall 2025 release on consoles. Following a report from IGN, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that while „there’s always a risk for slippage“, the company „feel really good about it [fall 2025 release]“.

Rockstar Game’s Grand Theft Auto 6 is one if not the most anticipated game of all time. Its trailer garnered more than 230 million views on YouTube and won the prize for the „most anticipated game“ at the Game Awards 2025. This comes as no surprise, since its predecessor GTA 5 – released in 2013 – achieved a cult following and is officially the highest grossing media product of all time.
