A Ghost of Tsushima anime is in development and set to be released exclusively on the Sony-owned Crunchyroll in 2027. This show marks the first anime adaption of any PlayStation Studios game so far. The project is based on Sucker Punch‘s Ghost of Tsushima and specifically on the game‘s co-op multiplayer mode Legends.

Takanobu Mizuno (Star Wars: Visions, Ninja Batman) will direct the anime and the title will be produced in collaboration with Aniplex, known for projects like Sword Art Online and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Sony Music serves as partner for music and soundtrack for the show.
