In Paramount’s The Running Man reimagining Josh Brolin and Lee Pace will star opposite the film‘s protagonist Glen Powell. The title is being directed by Edgar Wright, who is co-writing the screenplay with Michael Bacall (21 & 22 Jump Street). The movie is based on the titular Stephen King novel, which had already been adapted into the identically named 1987 flick with Arnold Schwarzengger.
Josh Brolin starred in No Country for Old Men, Sicario and the recent Dune movies, but he is probably best known for his role as the big bad in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thanos. Lee Pace memorably portrayed the villain Ronan in the MCU‘s Guardians of the Galaxy and plays a crucial role in Apple TV‘s sci-fi show Foundation. The cast also includes Katy O‘Brian, Daniel Ezra and Karl Gusman.
