Following multiple reports Netflix is interested in including live episodes of the YouTube hit show Hot Ones in their TV slate. If a deal were to happen, the show’s host Sean Evans would interview celebrities while eating increasingly spicier chicken wings live and exclusively on Netflix.
The show has been around for some time but became increasingly popular over the last years. For many celebrities Hot Ones is a must-do to promote their latest projects. Simultaneously the show creates viral and interesting moments for fans.
With Hot Ones Netflix could add another popular event to its live-roster. In the sports category the streaming giant offers the NFL’s Christmas games in December and next year’s WWE.
