The third installment of the murder mystery franchise – Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery has five times the budget of the first movie, which cost $40M. The reasons for this and generally many details about the 2025 releasing movie are unknown.
However, the film first drew attention to itself by announcing its cast. In a short time span the cast members were announced separately or in duos. This created a feeling of excitment for the upcoming film. Now it’s known that next to Daniel Craig, who portrays the franchise’s private detective Benoit Blanc, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Jeremy Renner and other high profile actors will star in Knives Out 3.
After the success of the first movie, Netflix acquired the rights for both Knive’s Out 2 and 3 for $450 Million USD in 2021.
